Brianna Lemoine

RMT

Sports was a big part of Brianna’s life growing up. While she participated in gymnastics, snowboarding, basketball, and cross country, her fascination of muscles and anatomy grew. Combined with her interest in knowing how to optimize the body’s health and function led Brianna to achieve a Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics from the University of Ottawa. It was there she decided to pursue a career that would provide rehabilitation in a more hands on manner, and become a Registered Massage Therapist. She graduated with honours from Algonquin College with an advanced diploma in Massage Therapy in 2019.

As a registered massage therapist, Brianna plans to combine her education to provide optimal care and maximize healing to the body through deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, and stretching, while incorporating exercise and movement into the treatment. She has experience working with athletes, scars, chronic pain, and post-rehab patients. She is especially keen to treat sports injuries, post-rehab, and for prevention of injuries.

Born and raised in the Ottawa Valley, Brianna has developed a love for the outdoors, and takes an interest in adventure sports. Her passions include yoga, snowboarding, baking, and hiking. Brianna believes in continuously learning and self-development. She plans to further her practice through courses that can be combined with massage therapy to provide a more unique and effective approach to treatments. She has a goal to obtain her certificate in Anatomy Trains Structural Integration and Yoga Teacher Training.
