Rohit completed his bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy in Manchester, UK at Salford University after his undergraduate degree in Human Biology/Life Sciences at the University of Toronto. He completed his clinical placements within the National Health Service focusing on neurological rehabilitation.
His treatment approach is hands-on with emphasis on manual handling and movement based interventions while using education and exercise to help patients with pain reduction, return to sports/work, and improving activities of daily living.
As a part of my commitment to continuing education, I have completed the following courses and certifications:
- Complete Concussion Management
- Eclectic Approach to Upper and Lower Quadrant Assessment and Treatment;
- Kinesiology taping
- AED training
- CPR/Standard First Aid
While in England, I joined a bhangra dance team (traditional folk Indian dancing from Northern India) and competed in a competition called the “The Bhangra Showdown” (https://youtu.be/KlSHku8oJMU -male green dancer). In addition to dance/bhangra I play sports competitively with focus on badminton, basketball and volleyball. I have coached high school basketball and badminton in Sarnia helping the mixed doubles (badminton) pairing win the city tournament.
