Nicollette Waterman, RMT

Originally from Downtown Toronto, Niko strongly believes that exercise is medicine to the mind, body, and soul. The all-encompassing approach that is massage therapy, in addition to, her deep-seated passion for all thing’s movement, are exactly what drew her to this profession.

While completing a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo, she spent her summers in British Columbia planting trees. This experience not only highlighted the importance of body mechanics and postural awareness for her, but it also fostered a deep appreciation and affinity for the hands-on approach to rehabilitation that massage takes. After completing her undergraduate degree in 2019, Niko went on to complete her diploma in Massage Therapy at Sir Sanford Fleming College in May 2022 and is now an active member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.

As a Registered Massage Therapist, Niko aims to incorporate her academic experiences to address pain, treat and prevent muscular imbalances using traditional techniques, such as:

  • Myofascial release;
  • Trigger point therapy;
  • Neuromuscular techniques;
  • Joint play;
  • Rhythmical mobilizations; and
  • Remedial exercise.

Niko is committed to continuously furthering her education and aspires to obtain certifications in Cupping, Manual Lymph Drainage and Instructing Yoga.
